ABOUT ELLIE

Ellie set up her studio in Wakefield

in 2018 and launched as a freelance designer shortly afterward.

Her practice is driven by placemaking and she likes to find ways to explore this concept in any project she takes on. She specialises in designing bespoke prints and posters for commercial businesses, organisations or community groups with the purpose of promoting their locality and cultural offering in a distinctive manner.

Ellie is best known for her Travel Poster collections which she started designing in 2020. Inspired by the ingenious design from the golden age of travel, her posters illustrate the diverse scenic, architectural and cultural landscapes of West Yorkshire; celebrating the communities most cherished spots and promoting what the region has to offer.

When Ellie is not freelancing or designing her own collections, she is leading various printmaking workshops or supporting the members of The Art House Print Studio as their print technician.

If you would like to work with Ellie or wholesale any of her collections

get in touch.
